   Sara Palin is like the legendary “Smoo” from the Al Capp’s cartoon Lil’ Abner. The more you kill them off,the more they reproduce. So far her detractors have burned up megawatts of electricity and tons of credibility trying to give her the final, ultimate, fatal and terminal blow that will end her participation in the public process forever, for all times and to the end! To their frustration she keeps popping up in the news thanks largely to the counter productive efforts of those that love to hate her. Why do they do this? Obviously its caused by deep seated anxiety about what she is. My guess is that her wholesome countenance and plain speech engenders childish contempt if not out right hatred among those that view the world as a place where power is locked in sound bites, camera angles and the correctly edited paragraph. I think the next 12 months will be telling. Now that she has resigned, her resignation from the national stage will take place, If and only if, the liberals can leave her alone. If they don’t it won’t. You betcha! RussFelix
